Hello, I'm Victoria Newstead – Your Guide to Painting Classes in Carlisle

Born in Moscow in the late 60's, I began my artistic journey sculpting at the Moscow Institute of Painting, Sculpture, and Architecture. Specializing in portraiture, my professional achievements have involved commissioned artwork and educational roles.

In the early 90's, I immigrated to the United Kingdom, where I have since contributed to the field of art education. Over the years, I have imparted my knowledge, including teaching A-level Art and offering painting classes in Carlisle, in diverse school environments including Milton Keynes and Carlisle.

In my current role, I teach and conduct art painting classes on weekends, offering both painting classes in Carlisle and specialized oil painting instruction.

My focus revolves around the intricate art of oil painting, where I bring a wealth of expertise and dedication. I also enjoy exploring various artistic mediums, including acrylics, multimedia, pastels, inks, pencils, and charcoal.
