Hello my name is Victoria Newstead

Born in Moscow in the late 60's, I began my artistic journey sculpting at  the Moscow Institute of Painting, Sculpture, and Architecture.  Specialising in portraiture, my professional achievements have involved  commissioned artwork and educational roles. 

In the early 90's, I immigrated to the United Kingdom, where I have  since contributed to the field of Art education. Over the years, I have  imparted my knowledge, including teaching A-level Art, in diverse school  environments including Milton Keynes and Carlisle.

In my current role, I work as a teacher and conducting art classes on  weekends.

My specialised focus revolves around the intricate art of oil painting,  where I bring a wealth of expertise and dedication. I also enjoy delving  into diverse artistic mediums, including acrylics, multimedia, pastels,  inks, pencils, and charcoal. This broad spectrum of skills allows me to  provide a nuanced and comprehensive approach to both teaching and  artistic expression.
